Daniel Bar is an entrepreneur dedicated to distributed web technologies, as well as the founder of Bitfwd and co-founder and CEO of SpaceComputer. He is particularly interested in disruptive innovation in fintech and aims to promote equitable business models through open-source systems and crypto-economic empowerment. He leads global blockchain collaborations involving grassroots developer communities, prominent technology projects, venture capital initiatives, academic research groups, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. He currently works primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. Before investing in blockchain technology, he was involved in research and development in fields such as quantum computing, nanoelectronics, and biosensors. He holds a master’s degree in nanotechnology from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and is a graduate of the QLC Orion Entrepreneurship Program at the University of New South Wales Business School.
