Rainey Reitman is the board president and co-founder of the Freedom of the Press Foundation, and a board member of the Filecoin Foundation for the Decentralized Web. She currently serves as Director of Groundwork Strategy and Temporary Director of Philanthropy at Free Law Project, and is the author of "Transaction Denied" exploring speech and financial censorship. Previously, she was Chief Program Officer and Interim Executive Director at EFF, and Director of Communications at Privacy Rights Clearinghouse. She earned her BA from Bard College.
