Emblem Vault

Emblem Vault, the product of the Circuits of Value project and its COVAL token, is a cross-chain asset container protocol built on ERC-721 vault NFTs: on minting, distributed key generation and MPC produce a new private key encrypted and bound to that NFT, so after users deposit BTC, ETH, SOL, ERC-20s and Ordinals from more than twenty chains into the corresponding addresses, the whole bag trades as a single NFT on any marketplace — transferring the NFT transfers ownership of the underlying assets with no per-coin bridging. It targets multi-chain asset fragmentation and bridge risk by moving the claim rather than the assets; cracking the vault reveals the private key and destroys the wrapper.

COVAL pays minting and protocol service fees, with lockups earning fee discounts, and the Emblem SDK lets third-party apps integrate vaulting. Against lock-and-mint bridges it divides labor by relying on no relay-chain validators, and against account-abstraction wallets by targeting existing multi-chain holdings rather than new account systems. Counterparties must verify the vault's contents and key binding themselves; COVAL printed an all-time low in July 2026 with market capitalization shrinking to the tens of thousands of dollars, a gap between vault utility narrative and on-chain activity that marks the project's current state.
