Fortitudeについて
Fortitude is a vertically integrated Zcash miner that owns its data centres, power contracts and machine maintenance, mining ZEC on the Equihash algorithm and holding the output on its balance sheet. It runs seven sites in South Dakota, Nebraska, Texas and New York with more than 60 megawatts of capacity, and mined 72,696 ZEC in the first half of 2026, about 28% of network output over the period. Its fleet is mainly Antminer Z15 Pro units and hash rate is measured in GSol/s; the cost advantage comes from long-term power prices and in-house operations, while output moves with network difficulty and the coin price. The model treats mining as a low-cost way to accumulate Zcash, then reuses the sites and power contracts as assets that can be pointed at other proof-of-work networks.
Compared with hosted mining it carries coin-price and difficulty risk in exchange for inventory upside; compared with single-coin miners it keeps the option of moving power and crews to a new algorithm. Hash rate passed 5.0 GSol/s on 15 October 2026. Output is concentrated in one coin and one algorithm, with nearly a third of network production held by a single miner, which puts decentralisation of the network under scrutiny.
On October 15, 2026 Fortitude's Zcash hashrate passed 5.0 GSol/s after mining 72,696 ZEC in the first half, roughly 28% of network output. On July 30 it ordered 9,000 Bitmain Z15 Pro machines for about USD 31.5 million, expected to add 7.56 GSol/s and lift capacity by 145%, and on October 5 it signed a non-binding letter of intent for up to USD 100 million of next-generation Zcash rigs. A June all-stock merger agreement with HeartSciences aims at a Nasdaq listing under the ticker TUDE, and on August 4 it closed the acquisition of a 12.5 MW Nebraska site, taking contracted power above 60 MW.
Fortitude is running listing and expansion in parallel toward roughly 12.8 GSol/s, with self-built sites targeted to cut direct cash cost per ZEC from about USD 70 to USD 40 and equipment deposits paid in ZEC to keep coin-denominated exposure.
