Buyback and burn: As of April 1, buybacks by Paradex and Paradigm had removed 6.9% of total DIME supply, cutting circulation to about 20%. Purchases are funded by net protocol revenue and Paradigm's balance sheet, with weekly transfers to each party's Ethereum L1 wallet for public verification.
Revenue: Gross protocol revenue fell from $2.79M in Q1 to $199.46K in Q2 and $58.38K in Q3, while buyback spend dropped from $265.56K to $18.52K over the same quarters. Paradigm RFQ went live on September 16 and traded $14.5M on its first day.
Unlocks: Paradigm preferred holders re-locked their 10.4% allocation, with nothing unlocking before April 5, 2027 and linear vesting stretched from 12 to 20 months. The core contributor cliff moved from March 5 to August 5, 2027, and 80% of that bucket also needs performance milestones.
On March 5, 2026, Paradex launched DIME with a genesis airdrop of 25% of supply, 20% of it to Season 2 participants, leaving about 24.5% circulating at launch. By April 1, Paradex and Paradigm had bought back 6.9% of total supply, cutting circulation to about 20%; Paradigm preferred shareholders relocked 10.4%, and the team cliff moved to August 5, 2027.
In mid-October 2026, DIME's 24-hour volume was only about $277,000, 87% of it on Paradex's own spot market; Season 3 pays 4 million XP a week but commits no tokens. Cumulative platform volume exceeds $250 billion, with about $550 million in open interest.
Future strategy and roadmap: Paradex is expanding through zero-fee perps, privacy-enabled accounts and DimeVM, with near-term priorities in RWA perps, dated options and Paradigm RFQ integration, while managing DIME supply through buybacks and lockups.

Paradex charges a 0.003% (0.3 bps) Pro maker fee on both spot and perpetuals; the taker fee is tiered by 14-day volume, 0.045% at Pro 0, 0.042% from $1M, 0.039% from $5M, 0.037% from $10M and 0.035% from $25M.
Paradex stacks three Pro taker discounts: up to 30% off for staking DIME, 40% off for paying fees in DIME and 30% off for FastFills, with a floor of 1.75 bps.
Paradex charges 0.01% maker and 0.01% taker on Pro options, capped at 12.5% of the premium, and a delisting settlement fee of 0.015% on spot and perpetuals and 0.0075% on dated options.
