Pondoについて
Pondo is a liquid staking protocol for Aleo. Users deposit Aleo credits and receive pAleo tokens representing a share of the total staked pool, so they keep liquidity while staking; the protocol states that staking can start from a single token, against the 10,000 required for staking directly on Aleo.
The flow runs in three steps: deposit, rebalance and withdraw. The core protocol distributes credits among five delegates, each bonded to a validator; an oracle calculates yields for the top validators and posts the data on-chain, and any user can trigger a rebalance when it is profitable, with the core protocol unbonding, collecting, redistributing and rebonding credits accordingly. pAleo holders can redeem for Aleo credits unless a rebalance is in progress, and an emergency circuit breaker can freeze the protocol if critical issues arise. The project says it is built by Aleo core contributors and audited by Veridise, zkSecurity and the Aleo community.
Pondo's staking minimum is 1 ALEO versus 10,000 for direct staking, and pALEO stays usable across Aleo DEXs and lending venues.
DefiLlama data in October 2026 showed Pondo's TVL on Aleo at roughly $1.06 million to $1.19 million, up about 35% to 49% over seven days and about 166% over 30 days, making it the largest protocol on Aleo; cumulative fees stood near $139,900. The token has been under pressure: PNDO peaked at $0.899 on April 9, 2025 and fell to an all-time low of $0.0001165 on September 9, 2026, with a market cap of about $136,000.
Pondo will keep using an oracle to rank the five highest-yield validators while letting anyone trigger rebalancing, and connect pALEO to more Aleo DeFi venues to widen liquid staking use cases; 10% of withdrawal rewards flow to the rewards pool, and PNDO can only be burned, never minted, to redeem ALEO from that pool.
Pondo charges a 10% share of rewards on pALEO withdrawals, with 10% of withdrawal rewards flowing into the Pondo Rewards Pool to power the $PNDO fee and reward mechanism.
Pondo lowers the Aleo staking entry point to 1 token, far below the 10,000 tokens required for staking directly on Aleo, with staked funds allocated automatically to the top 5 performing validators.
