Radicleについて

Security disclosure: On September 28 Radicle disclosed two critical flaws in its core wire protocol that could expose private repository data in cleartext and allow node impersonation, with maintainers recommending a halt to clearnet private repository operations until a major architectural overhaul. The subscription hosted-node service Radicle Garden launched on June 2.
Market and treasury: RAD jumped 32% to 51% on October 5 and 6, peaking at $0.4055, on $104.5 million of volume, about 4.4 times market cap, with no official catalyst; Phemex delisted its pairs on October 6. Supply is capped at 100 million with 1,420 burned, and the Timelock holds 40.92%.
In January 2026 Radicle shipped 1.6.0, which brought native Windows support for radicle-node and moved the rad CLI to clap. Version 1.7.0 followed on 18 March 2026 with a rewritten signed-references design that closed a replay and graft attack surface, with full disclosure published on 30 March 2026. The project moved to the radicle.dev and radicle.network domains on 23 April 2026, released 1.9.0 and 1.9.1 in May, then shipped 1.10.0 through 1.10.3 between August and September 2026, improving node blocking, I2P connectivity and I/O load. Another network-protocol vulnerability was disclosed on 23 September 2026.
On the community side, HardenedBSD began evaluating Radicle after problems with its GitLab server, and volunteers deployed at least six replicas worldwide within 24 hours.
Future strategy and roadmap: Radicle kept a quarterly release cadence in 2026; from 1.6.0 it natively supports Windows and moved to the radicle.dev domain, with later versions strengthening I2P access and signed-reference replay-attack protection. The next priority is shipping the Radicle Desktop GUI client to lower the barrier to decentralized code collaboration and approach centralized-platform usability. The team is also evaluating migrating nodes to HardenedBSD to host real open-source projects. It plans broader public seed-node coverage and node-reputation mechanisms, continuing quarterly fixes to protocol vulnerabilities and improving p2p hosting stability at scale.
