Reaper Farm

Reaper Farm is an auto-compounding yield aggregator launched in 2021 by the Fantom-native team ByteMasons, built around a vault network: users deposit liquidity pool tokens and strategy contracts periodically harvest reward tokens from farms and reinvest them into the same position, with harvest transactions batched to save on-chain overhead and gas paid out of harvested rewards so users never compound manually. The vault contracts adapt the battle-tested yearn v1 skeleton alongside self-accounting simple strategies and a treasury module, covering farms on Fantom (now Sonic), Optimism, BSC and Arbitrum; the protocol runs as a DAO, and OATH is its token.

Third-party data platforms put Reaper Farm's total value locked near $2.26 million in October 2026, about $2 million of it on Optimism and roughly $240,000 on the Fantom/Sonic side, with BSC and Arbitrum together only tens of thousands; compared with the Fantom peak, the locked structure has clearly shifted toward Optimism as the ecosystem migrated. With Fantom rebranded as Sonic, the aggregator's early home-chain advantage faded, and its vaults now sit across multiple chains, with auto-compounding still the main product differentiator described in its documentation.
