Sandmark is a crypto options analytics terminal that aggregates public prints from major venues including Deribit, CME, OKX and Bybit and organizes volatility surfaces, 25-delta skews, term structure, flow tapes and positioning into structured, backtestable views. The pain it targets is that options pricing and hedging require stitching data across venues: the platform reconstructs surfaces by expiry and strike, marks skew percentiles against one-year history, and turns judgement into concrete structures with a built-in strategy pricer and backtest engine.
The terminal ships an AI analyst that answers natural-language questions about surfaces, expiries and structures and supports BYOK access to Claude or GPT-family models; every reading is exposed as an MCP tool so agents such as Claude and Cursor can query live surfaces and backtests directly. Customers range from individual traders to small market-making teams across seat tiers, with Pro and above unlocking minute-level data, API and alerts. It provides no execution, focusing on the cross-venue pricing and risk analytics layer.
On January 12, 2026, Sandmark became an official partner of Artemis SailGP, backing the Swedish team through the 2026 season, which opened with the Sail Grand Prix in Perth on January 17 and 18. On February 26, the outlet added three senior journalists from Cointelegraph, Bloomberg and CoinDesk, taking its editorial team past 20 people.
On April 13, 2026, Sandmark published its first Crypto Intelligence Report, surveying more than 5,000 finance professionals and investors across eight markets with GWI: 96% of professional investors were optimistic about crypto as an asset versus 39% of beginners, 42% of professionals named regulatory uncertainty as the main barrier to institutional involvement, and only 8% cited payments utility as a reason to hold crypto.
Future strategy and roadmap: Sandmark is merging media and data tools into one product line; its options analytics platform already covers every strike and expiry on Deribit and CME, with AI commentary and an MCP interface. The next step is to route research readers into terminal data and vice versa, funding growth through institutional subscriptions rather than advertising.
