TMX is used for perpetual trading-fee discounts, staking governance, and liquidity incentives; each trade is burned by a share, supply is capped and deflationary, and team and investor shares vest on a lock schedule.

TMXについて
TMX is a decentralised derivatives trading platform run by Tribe on Arbitrum and Optimism. It uses a GMX-style multi-asset liquidity pool, TLP, as the counterparty, supports perpetual contracts with up to 100 times leverage, and liquidity providers share profit, loss and fees by pool share. It addresses the need for enough on-chain derivatives depth to carry large position openings.
Mechanically the pool acts as counterparty to all positions, prices come from aggregated feeds, and positions are liquidated when margin falls below the maintenance level. Its contract structure shares the same pooled counterparty model as GMX forks, and is close to them in depth and leverage parameters. Between January 5 and January 7, 2026, a loop between minting and staking was exploited and about 1.4 million dollars of assets were moved out, without the protocol pausing. It belongs to the narrative of perpetuals in the Arbitrum ecosystem and GMX forks.
Between January 5 and 7, 2026, TMX (Tribe DEX) lost about $1.4 million when an attacker looped mint-and-stake calls against an unverified LP contract on Arbitrum. CertiK flagged the exploit on January 5, and the funds were bridged to Ethereum through Across before being sent to Tornado Cash. The team deployed and upgraded contracts repeatedly during the attack but never triggered an emergency pause.
On January 6, 2026, the team sent an on-chain bounty from wallet 0x3339...9543 offering to keep 20% if the attacker returned 80%; there was no reply. By January 10 there was still no post-mortem or compensation plan. Market data on August 17, 2026 showed about 518,000 TMX circulating, 2.6% of the 20 million supply, a circulating market cap near $570,000 against a fully diluted value of about $22 million, and a price of $1.1 to $1.2, more than 90% below the $20.56 record.
TMX allocates 58% of the trading and liquidation fees generated on the platform to liquidity providers, with the share distributed to depositors in TM Pools and TLV Vaults.
