Buyback and burn: Since July 1, 2025 the foundation has run a semi-annual revenue-funded buyback and burn aimed at cutting supply from 3.466 billion to 1 billion tokens, though no new round size or date was disclosed between April and October 2026.
Progress and valuation: The wallet added EIP-7702 smart-account support on August 14 and shipped new iOS and Android builds with KeyPal 2 firmware updates on August 31; TP Card and Tron energy rental are live. TPT traded near $0.0094 on October 12 with a roughly $46 million market cap and only $240,000 of TVL.
In January 2026 TokenPocket published its annual report, claiming more than 35 million users, over five million cumulative active addresses on its built-in Transit DEX and a 687% year-on-year rise in transaction count. In March it moved its main site to tp.xyz.
For TokenPocket, on features, 3 April brought zero-network-fee USDC transfers on Polygon, so users can send without holding POL and still see near-instant arrival, while stablecoin gas payment built on EIP-7702 abstracts fees across transfers, swaps and cross-chain routes. May added WalletConnect QR payments, June's Android 2.22.0 introduced multisig limit orders and security log export, and version 2.23.0 followed in July as Galxe integrated the wallet; police also took down a group that had long distributed counterfeit download links. Abstracting gas frees users from buying a native token first, which is decisive for newcomers, but it moves fee settlement to a sponsor, making who subsidises and for how long a sustainability question. Security pressure is equally concrete: counterfeit downloads and approval phishing remain the main source of losses for wallet users.
TokenPocket extends the gasless experience to more chains, refines multisig and the PassPhrase privacy wallet, and reaches into cards and on-ramps.
