UkraineDAOについて
UkraineDAO was formed in early 2022 as a fundraising decentralised autonomous organisation on Ethereum, raising money for affected civilians through NFT auctions and crypto donations. Its best known action was minting a Ukrainian flag as an NFT and opening it to public bidding on an auction platform, with proceeds disbursed in tranches recorded on-chain.
The organisation keeps its treasury in a multisig wallet, so every donation and outgoing transfer can be checked individually on a block explorer. It operates without an office or a board, with members split into working groups covering fundraising, communications and content verification. Beyond direct grants to relief organisations, it has helped other disaster-relief DAOs set up fundraising and governance processes, and has shifted part of its effort toward fact-checking and media-literacy work.
Nadya Tolokonnikova — Founder; member of Pussy Riot; co-launched UkraineDAO in 2022 with Trippy Labs and PleasrDAO members to raise funds for Ukrainian civilians.
