Ulys

Ulys is a consumer app that combines a self-custodial wallet with an AI assistant. Users open an account by signing in with Apple, Google or a phone number, with no seed phrase to write down. The wallet relies on Privy's key-splitting scheme, storing encrypted shares in secure hardware, while users can still export their key and the platform cannot move funds unilaterally.

The app supports buying, selling and cross-chain swapping of more than 130 tokens with gas handled in the background. Turning on Earn deposits eligible USDC into third-party on-chain lending protocols, showing up to about 4% annual yield that comes from those protocols rather than the platform and can be switched off at any time. The AI assistant explains markets and drafts trades that the user must confirm, with prices and holdings on one screen instead of several apps.
