YIEDL

YIEDL is an on-chain asset management protocol where the portfolio is set not by a manager but by collective forecasts from a data science competition. Entrants submit model predictions of future returns, are scored after the fact and rewarded or penalised, and top-scoring models are blended into a meta-model that sets vault weights.

Vault shares are denominated in sUSD: subscriptions issue transferable token shares and redemptions return sUSD at net asset value. Underlying exposure is built through Synthetix perpetuals, giving long and short positions without holding spot. Scoring and reward settlement are written to contracts, so anyone can recompute how a period's forecast diverged from outcomes, with weights rolled on a fixed cycle. The vault charges a management fee and a performance fee on net asset value, both set in contracts; the competition settles by season, models post a stake before submitting, and laggards lose part of it.
