In May 2026 Blockchain.com confidentially filed draft IPO registration documents with the SEC; on September 28 Bloomberg reported it had told prospective investors it wants to list this year, seeking about $500 million at a $4–6 billion valuation and willing to scale the deal down if needed. That range is less than half the $14 billion valuation from its March 2022 Series D. Blockchain.com says it has been profitable on an adjusted basis for three consecutive years.
Blockchain.com has also signed an agreement with the NYSE to explore continuous global trading of tokenized US stocks. Its website cites more than $1.1 trillion in processed transactions and $537 million of equity raised. As of September 29 no public S-1 had been filed by the company, leaving deal size, pricing and timing subject to change.
Blockchain.com's listing price is itself a valuation reset: USD 4-6 billion is less than half the USD 14 billion peak of 2022 and close to secondary levels after the 2023 Series E, showing public markets will pay only for a profitable installed base. Its hand is distribution across roughly 95 million wallets and more than 43 million verified accounts, plus three straight years of adjusted profitability; the NYSE digital ATS partnership brings tokenised stocks and ETFs into that account base and is the clearest use of IPO proceeds. The risk is a listing window overlapping the trading cycle, with the pace of institutional and custody revenue deciding whether that range holds.
