Centrifuge is tokenization infrastructure for on-chain asset management that helps asset managers issue funds, bonds and credit on-chain and enable compliant on-chain distribution and transfer.
The project offers tokenization, asset management and distribution tools plus institutional products and white-label options so managers can run on-chain business under their own brand. Emphasizing compliance, composability and institutional standards, it connects traditional asset management with on-chain capital and works with large managers, making it representative tokenization infrastructure in real-world assets.

In May 2026 Coinbase named Centrifuge a preferred tokenization infrastructure provider and made a strategic investment in CFG, bringing its framework onto Base; in June Ethena selected Centrifuge after a competitive RFP and allocated $250 million to JAAA as real-world backing for USDe, while New York Life Investment Management (about $807 billion in AUM) put its high-yield corporate bond strategy HYB onchain.
On September 2 it partnered with Janus Henderson and SMT on onchain vaults managing reserves behind loyalty programmes; on October 6 it deployed the JTRSY, JAAA and HYB funds to Circle's Arc; on October 7 deSPXA became borrowable collateral for USDC on Hyperdrive on Base with 50,000 USDC of lender incentives. Q2 TVL was $1.6 billion, down 6% quarter-on-quarter, with 10,988 token holders, up 16%; the tokenized credit market contracted 2.8% to $6.17 billion in Q3, where Centrifuge ranked third with a 9.9% share and 12.1% holder growth. In August it raised CP172, a proposal to let holders swap CFG for company equity.
Centrifuge's Future strategy and roadmap: After CP172 passed with 98.53%, Centrifuge's next step is not another chain but swapping a governance token for equity: the foundation re-registers as a Cayman exempted company, CFG converts one-for-one into shares, holders of 100,000 tokens or more enter the register directly and smaller holders pool through a CoinList trust. The strategic point is that institutional limited partners cannot come in through a public token, while an equity structure can take venture and strategic capital. On product, V3.3's onchain execution policy writes investment mandates and constraints into the vault contracts, and Janus Henderson's first institutional vault plus M0 accepting JTRSY as collateral show Centrifuge selling programmable asset-management infrastructure rather than a single fund.
