Unlocks and delistings: Early-participant allocations have been unlocking in stages since January against a 1 billion total supply. MGBX delisted the J/USDT pair on June 12, and an October 8 check found no active market on Binance, OKX, Bybit or Gate.
Price and fundamentals: J fell to an all-time low of $0.00067 on August 14, rebounded to $0.0035 by August 24 before fading, and traded at $0.00124 on September 7 for a market cap near $199,000. The team reports more than 650,000 JamboPhones sold.
From January 2026 the allocations of early J participants began unlocking in tranches while the float stayed low; on August 14 the token hit an all-time low of $0.00067, rebounded to $0.0035 by late August and then gave back most of the gain. On hardware, the company says more than 650,000 JamboPhones have shipped across 128 countries and the Jambo app has passed one million Google Play downloads, with updates still shipping in April 2026.
Jambo's product remains phone-as-entry-point: a $99 Android handset preloaded with a non-custodial wallet, a dApp store and a quest platform, where users complete tasks and watch videos for rewards and spend J on discounts and tips. The company reports more than 11 million active wallets and over 60 ecosystem partners, though those figures are self-reported without third-party verification, and the token has no separate chain, validator set or node software. There is no direct transmission from device sales to token demand, the most cited break in the thesis.
For Jambo, converting device shipments into onchain activity is the test, which means getting J genuinely used for payments, staking and ecosystem perks rather than sitting as an airdrop balance.
