Kite AIについて
Kite AI is a Layer 1 built for AI agents, supplying identity, payment and permission infrastructure for software that acts on its own. An on-chain account binds an agent's identity to policy constraints through Agent Passport, every payment an agent initiates passes a programmable permission check, and settlement uses protocols such as x402 and Google AP2, letting agents pay for models, data and APIs within set limits without human approval. Consensus runs on a proof-of-stake validator set, execution is EVM-compatible, and providers are settled by call volume, closing a machine-to-machine payment loop instead of routing each micropayment back to a person.
A single call shows it: the agent confirms identity and budget in Agent Passport, issues payment in x402 or AP2, the contract checks allowance and allowlist, and the provider returns the result as settlement lands, with volume invoiced by period. The human sets the budget once. In April 2026 the mainnet and Agent Passport moved into production with more than 90 providers connected.

On April 30, 2026, Kite Chain mainnet and the Agent Passport went live on an Avalanche-based, AI-agent payments L1, offering a stablecoin-native settlement layer plus agent identity and spending controls as the first agent-payment blockchain, with pilots across 90-plus providers including PayPal and Shopify; on May 9 WheelX integrated the mainnet for one-click bridging across 50-plus chains. An early-May unlock of about $56.5 million of KITE added short-term selling pressure, yet the token still rose meaningfully.
Future strategy and roadmap: After Kite Chain mainnet and Agent Passport launched on April 30 2026, Kite AI will ship a portfolio trading and optimization agent and non-EVM cross-chain interoperability with Sui and Solana in the second quarter; in the third quarter it will deploy agent-native stablecoin payment channels, agent reputation scoring and SLA contracts and an agent marketplace, and complete its developer stack with CLI tooling and Filecoin decentralized storage integrations, deepening PayPal and Shopify pilots and broadening access for its more than 90 signed service providers.
