Paribu

Paribu is a Turkish crypto exchange founded in 2017. Its trading entity, Paribu Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş., sits on the Capital Markets Board's provisional list, offering lira spot trading, staking and fiat rails with around 229 listed coins. It targets the demand of Turkish residents for dollar- and digital-asset exposure under high inflation, alongside asset-safety concerns about unlicensed venues, delivering compliant on/off-ramps through a regulated custody entity and bank channels with local support including phone service.

On architecture, the core is the in-house ColdShield custody stack integrating HSM, Secure Enclave and MPC into one design, matching is handled by the Hyper Engine at millisecond latency, and a separate group entity, Paribu Kripto Varlık Saklama Kuruluşu A.Ş., serves as an independent custodian; that stack completed ISO 27001 certification and SOC 1/SOC 2 Type 2 audits in 2026. Within Turkey's licensed field it competes with Bitkub and peers on a more mobile- and staking-integrated experience. As of October 2026 both entities remain on the SPK provisional list without final operating licences.
