U2U Network

U2U Network is a DAG-based, EVM-compatible Layer 1 with mainnet chain ID 39, aimed at DePIN use cases. Its consensus is the in-house Helios design: asynchronous Byzantine fault tolerance layered with delegated proof-of-stake, proof-of-elapsed-time, proof-of-reputation and trusted execution environments, with officially cited figures around 17,000 TPS and 650-millisecond finality. It addresses the fragmentation and resource-access problems DePIN projects face: Subnet gives device networks an independent execution environment, OstracismVM compiles code in Python, Go, Rust and TypeScript into runtimes, and nodes from smartphones to supercomputers contribute compute, storage and bandwidth.

In the ecosystem U2U positions itself as DePIN backbone: U2DPN has served more than 59 million cumulative sessions with roughly 900,000 monthly active users, over 40 DePIN projects cluster in its ecosystem covering decentralized VPN (U2DPN, Zenith), secure machine-to-machine communication (Staex) and real-world data (Nubila), and the DePIN Client Hub unifies resource and earnings management. Its throughput figures come from development-network stress tests rather than mainnet measurements, leaving a gap between the headline numbers and publicly observable on-chain load, a common caveat when evaluating DAG chains of this kind.
