Beldexについて
Beldex is a privacy-first Layer 1 built on the CryptoNote stack: transactions hide sender, receiver and amount by default through ring signatures, stealth addresses and RingCT, and the network is maintained by masternodes requiring 10,000 BDX of collateral that also take part in governance and network services. The ecosystem adds the BNS naming system plus decentralized VPN and messaging components, extending privacy from transfers to naming and communication.
It serves users and regions sensitive to on-chain visibility, and the claim is default anonymity rather than throughput: a sender builds a transaction, masternodes validate and package it, and validators cannot reconstruct the amount. Unlike mixers on Ethereum, privacy is a protocol default rather than an optional add-on, so no separate anonymity pool has to be assembled. On October 6, 2026, Confidential Assets activated at block height 4,242,200 via the Proto hard fork, hiding amounts and holders of custom assets as well.

Beldex's 2026 story was opening its privacy asset layer while managing the aftermath of a bridge incident. On 6 October the Proto testnet hard fork activated at block height 4,242,200 and brought Confidential Assets: developers can issue tokens whose sender, recipient and amount are hidden by default, built on the UTXO model with ring signatures and stealth addresses, supported by a WebJS SDK and an extension wallet in development.
The other thread was repair. In June the BDX-BSC bridge was exploited and about 38.2 million tokens were minted without authorisation; the team deployed a new BELDEX token, Kraken and others supported a 1:1 migration for snapshot holders, legacy BDX was delisted, and an analysis on 14 October conceded that migration communication created confusion.
Beldex's path runs in three steps, first stabilising UTXO-level privacy tokens, then shipping account-based addresses and an EVM sidechain so those tokens can migrate into EVM territory; consensus stays proof of stake with masternodes while the team researches zero-knowledge and quantum-resistant signatures to open the ecosystem to outside developers.
