Chromiaについて
Chromia is a relational Layer 1 developed by a Swedish team since 2018, with mainnet live in July 2024. It addresses on-chain data stored as keys or logs, where complex queries need external indexers: the ledger is organised in relational tables, contracts are written in Rell, a single transaction can perform hundreds of reads and writes, and data is queryable on-chain; consensus is eBFT with roughly 2-second finality and no reorgs, state proofs are anchored to Ethereum every couple of minutes, and each app can lease its own dapp chain with fees paid by the app rather than end users.
Recent product work centres on AI agents: a Vector DB extension enables on-chain similarity search and RAG, and Atbash acts as a control layer that enforces policy before tool calls and writes every allow or block decision on-chain for independent compliance review; on the gaming and DeFi side sit Mines of Dalarnia, ColorPool and Udon Finance. In July 2026 a long-term holder's wallet was compromised and 28.7 million CHR, about USD 2.26 million, was sold within two hours, exposing how concentrated holdings and address security spill into the network.

On October 5, 2026 Chromia put forward the CHR 2.0 tokenomics proposal, which would remove the fixed cap of 978 million tokens and introduce daily issuance of 125,000 CHR, about 45.6 million a year, to refill staking and node rewards that were nearly exhausted. That implies roughly 4.7% initial inflation against current supply, thinning over time, and the change depends on a community vote framed as a trade-off between network security and long-term sustainability.
The product line leaned into AI agents during the year. ClawChain, a social platform where only agents can post, launched in February and was reported at over 1,700 agents, 4,600 posts and 22,000 comments; Atbash arrived in April as a control layer for agent policies and on-chain audit trails; and the Mimir upgrade added vector search with 1,536-dimension embeddings and cosine similarity. On July 23 the team clarified that a sharp price drop came from a long-term holder's compromised wallet, with about 28.7 million CHR sold within 2.5 hours, not a protocol exploit.
Chromia will settle the balance between depleted reward pools and inflation expectations, then ship the GPU cluster, agent payments and on-chain agent framework to mainnet so real usage supports token demand.
