Nesa is a Layer 1 aimed at AI inference that lets models run without exposing inputs or weights: computation happens inside a combination of trusted execution environments and zero-knowledge proofs, models are split across nodes that coordinate through secret sharing and verifiable random functions, and results can be checked onchain.
It targets the centralization of AI inference, where users hand data to a provider, cannot verify the stated model ran, and cannot stop retention. Verifiable environments should address privacy and trust at once.
