Saitoについて
Saito is a layer-one blockchain that starts from a misalignment in conventional consensus: miners or validators get paid, but the nodes that actually serve data to users do not. Its consensus ties block production to routing work, so a node that forwards transactions closer to the user and faster into a block earns more of the fee. Supplying bandwidth and access to an application therefore becomes a profitable business, and applications no longer need third-party infrastructure to reach users.
Three mechanisms carry this. A transient blockchain with automatic transaction rebroadcasting makes old transactions compete with new ones for block space, using rent to curb state bloat. Cascading signed fees distribute fees hop by hop along the routing path. A golden ticket mechanism uses randomness from hash puzzles to keep distribution fair, splitting block rewards evenly with routing nodes. Developers need not write Solidity: applications run inside the user's wallet client and talk to chain nodes directly, with the SAITO token handling all network payments and settlement.
From August 14 to 31, 2026, it ran a mainnet migration campaign offering a 7% bonus to SAITO bought through ApeBond on Ethereum and migrated to mainnet; from September 17 to October 8 an Ape2Earn campaign distributed faucet credits, letting new users who link X claim 100 SAITO and spend it in the Saito Store on NFTs and themes.
On September 27, 2026, Saito announced mainnet was officially live: the network has processed more than 70 million blocks with no known exploits, uses ATR transaction rebroadcasting and Block Staking, and pays nodes for routing, storage and compute. The Refactor 2026 upgrade added native P2SH, RustScript and atomic NFT swaps, letting wallets mint, transfer and escrow digital assets directly.
Future strategy and roadmap: turn app publishing, subscriptions, the store and escrow into on-chain primitives via P2SH and programmable ownership, keep expanding browser-native apps such as RedSquare, Arcade and Chat, and prioritize the Saito Store and programmable finance as growth drivers.
