Taraxaについて
Taraxa is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 founded in 2018 by two Stanford engineers, with a mainnet that went live on 3 April 2023. Instead of a linear chain it uses t-Graph consensus over a directed acyclic graph, letting multiple blocks be proposed and confirmed in parallel so throughput rises without giving up decentralisation.
To make transaction ordering converge under a DAG, the protocol adds an anchor chain that gives the largest observed chain more weight so nodes agree on one ordering, and then uses PBFT voting to finalise anchor blocks, after which a transaction cannot be rolled back. The execution layer strips transactions that appear in several blocks to avoid redundant work. Published figures are around 5,000 transactions per second with true finality in under 3.7 seconds, and the native TARA token pays fees and carries staking, with bridges to Ethereum and Base also provided.
In April the Taraxa mainnet completed the Soleirolia upgrade to curb spam.
On the ecosystem side, liquid staking protocol LARA integrated Reown to support more than 130 wallets, TrendMoon became the first AI agent on Taraxa and entered the Olas accelerator in March, the TaraPerps perpetual DEX went live and the TNS naming service entered testing. The token kept weakening: by October 2026 TARA traded at $0.0000287, down about 99.96% from its $0.07045 high, with a market cap near $175,000 after an all-time low in June 2026.
The published Taraxa 2025 roadmap put post-quantum VM integration and performance work in the second half of 2025, aiming to scale from 5,000 TPS toward 50,000 TPS; no new upgrade or roadmap update has been announced in 2026.
