Virtuals Protocolについて

Protocol upgrade & incentives: In April 2026, Virtuals shipped ACP v2.0, a ground-up rearchitecture of its Agent Commerce Protocol into a Hook-based, multi-chain design and the reference implementation of the proposed Ethereum standard ERC-8183. In May, it announced an ecosystem incentive program worth about $40 million, using TWAP to acquire roughly 13 million VIRTUAL and allocating them to top-performing proxy tokens such as GAME, CONVO and AIXBT; on-chain data show protocol fees actually buy back agent tokens, while VIRTUAL supply remains fixed at 1 billion.
Products & partnerships: On July 14, Virtuals partnered with peaq to extend agent commerce to robots and DePIN; on September 15, it launched the Occupy launchpad on Base, pairing tokens with tokenized stocks with 40% of fees flowing to a stock treasury; on September 17, agent tokenization expanded to Arc. On revenue, protocol treasury revenue through September 2026 was about $2.4 million, down roughly 85% year over year.
April brought Virtuals Protocol's ACP v2.0, replacing the Memo architecture with hook contracts, supporting multiple chains in one session, non-custodial agent wallets and a Solana adapter, implementing the proposed ERC-8183 agent commerce standard and exposing x402 and MPP settlement endpoints. On July 14 Virtuals Protocol partnered with peaq so machines running peaqOS get their own agent that buys services through ACP and settles in USDC on Base, demonstrated with a Unitree G1 humanoid. Site data shows 45,563 unique agents, 2.55 million completed jobs, about $482 million of agentic GDP and $15.73 billion of 30-day agent token volume.
Virtuals Protocol's Future strategy and roadmap: Virtuals Protocol aims to own the full vertical of the agent economy: EconomyOS for identity and wallets, ACP for commerce, tokenization for capital formation, robotics for physical labor and the AI council for adjudication. ERC-8183, co-authored with the Ethereum Foundation's dAI team, standardizes escrow, evaluators and delivery checks, so adoption by outside builders would give Virtuals leverage beyond its own traffic. Beyond Base it has expanded to Arbitrum, XRP Ledger, Solana and Ronin, pulling machine buyers in through x402 settlement; the risk is that $470 million of aGDP is closely tied to $1 million a month in subsidies, and whether paid demand survives the taper is the dividing line. Output is measured in aGDP rather than TVL, which lets outsiders audit whether the subsidies actually work.
